Colombian Theologian
The Colombia Support Network (CSN) in Madison WI is itinerating
a national speaking tour of Colombian theologian FR. RAFAEL GALLEGO,
who is from a rural community resisting a gold mine and suffering in the civil war.
Father Rafael Gallego is the parish priest of Tiquisio and
is a philosopher and theologian specializing in human
rights and International Humanitarian Law. He is a first-class
community organizer. He has led the creation of the community radio
station, the peasant school-farm and above all he is considered a
threat by all the economic, political and military local powers.
