About Us
Ethan Rogol is a native English speaker who is fluent in Spanish, having studied in middle school, high school, and college and having lived in Costa Rica for a number of years. He is also conversant in Portuguese and French. He has a B.A. from The Evergreen State College, has done post-graduate work in Education and has a certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language. He has taught Spanish as a Foreign Language with Lengua Rica since 1997, and taught Spanish at The Evergreen State College from 2017 to 2023. He has taught ESL at both E.F. International School of English and South Puget Sound Community College. He has certificates in interpretation and translation through the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services' Language Testing and Certification Program. He has over 25 years experience doing interpretation and translation work for numerous South Sound medical, legal, and social institutions.
