These 8-week courses meet Mondays 10am-12noon or 6pm-8pm.
There are 4 Beginning Spanish courses, and students can start with any one of them:
AZUL: Adverbs of location, furniture, family relationships, regular verbs, negation, interrogative sentences, irregular verbs PODER, QUERER, VENIR, DECIR, OÍR
ROJO: Physical characteristics, basic body parts, adjectives, gender of nouns, noun-modifier agreement, the irregular verbs IR (to express motion and future action), VER, introduction and comparison of the verbs SER and ESTAR, present progressive tense, the prepositions PARA and POR.
AMARILLO: Numbers, shopping, clothing, telling time, days, months, seasons, the verb TENER to express possession and obligation, pluralization, accent marks, possessive adjectives, regular verbs
CARBÓN: Greetings, farewells, food, gender of nouns, definite and indefinite articles, demonstrative adjectives, introduction and comparison of the verbs SER and ESTAR, present progressive tense, the irregular verbs SABER, CONOCER, HACER, DAR, SALIR, TRAER, PONER.

Lengua Rica offers hybrid classes (in person/virtual) so that students can attend from anywhere in the world! Materials and content used in class are full of realistic, authentic language. Class activities address a variety of learning styles. Lengua Rica provides an engaging, fun, and relaxed atmosphere so that students enjoy themselves and are motivated to learn.
Class size ranges from five to fifteen. There are four distinct courses at the BEGINNING level and seven courses at the INTERMEDIATE level, 15 courses at the ADVANCED INTERMEDIATE level and 45 courses at the ADVANCED level.
We use traditional, popular, and original songs. In addition, students write their own songs, their own dialogues, perform role plays, read books in Spanish written for Spanish speakers and talk about them with their classmates.
We emphasize the importance of communication over perfection. We give students many and varied opportunities to demonstrate their progress so that they can see how far they've come and feel encouraged.
